Delivery timescales

Delivery times vary by product, so we’ve included estimated delivery ranges to each product page. 

 

Home delivery takes 1-3 working days once your order has been dispatched by the courier. 

 

Please allow extra time if your address is remote or offshore and note that we'll deliver products with different delivery ranges separately.

 

Delivery locations

We deliver to Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, and the Scottish Highlands and Islands for a fixed fee of £15.00

 

Sorry, we can’t deliver to the Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland, or Mainland Europe.

Order tracking

We’ll send you an email with a tracking link as soon as your order is packed and shipped by the supplier.

Delivery FAQs

What happens if I miss my delivery? 

The courier will reattempt delivery within the next 5 working days. Let us know if you would like the courier to leave your order in a safe place or with a specific neighbour if you're not likely to be in. 

 

What happens if my order is delayed? 

If your delivery has been delayed due to an event outside of our direct control then we will do everything we can to ensure that it is dispatched and delivered to you as quickly as possible. However, as our estimated delivery timescales are only ever given as our best estimate we are unable to provide a discount if your order arrives later than originally expected. 

 

What happens if parts of my delivery are missing? 

We’ll tell you how many boxes to expect, and you’ll also find this on the box labels. If a box is missing, contact us by emailing hello@californiashutters.co.uk or via our live chat. Please include your order number, name, and delivery postcode along with the details of the missing part(s). 

 

What should I do if something is damaged? 

Please unpack and check your order within 7 days of delivery. If something is damaged, contact us by emailing hello@californiashutters.co.uk or via our live chat. Please include your order number, name, and delivery postcode, along with the details of the damaged part(s) and supporting photos. We’ll get it sorted for you. 

 

What should I expect on delivery day?

Deliveries will be made to the outside of your property only, so please ensure that any person receiving the delivery is able to safely carry the boxes indoors without assistance. Weekday delivery slot between 8am and 6pm. Boxes typically weigh greater than 10kg each and may be large/bulky depending on the size of the product ordered. They will be delivered to a ground floor location only. 

On occasion our delivery partner may have to split your delivery over multiple van loads. We will let you know how many boxes to expect in total on your dispatch notification. 

We recommend that you open and check all of the contents of your boxes as soon as possible after delivery. We advise that you do not make arrangements for installation until you are satisfied that your full order is present and correct.
